What is Veggie Day? The event dedicated to World Vegetarian Day.

Swisstainable, the Switzerland Tourism initiative that raises awareness for environmental protection, has launched Veggie Day for the occasion, in which we participate to promote sustainable gastronomy.

On 1 October, for lunch many vegetarian dishes will be the protagonists at Fiore di pietra, in a beautiful panoramic setting at the summit of Monte Generoso. Our Fiore di pietra restaurant is offering a vegetarian menu package for this day, in addition to the à la carte offer.

• 🚂 Round trip with the cogwheel train.
• 🍽️ 3-course menu (drinks not included)

Menu:

• A.B: Stuffed winter roll of filo pastry
• FIRST course: Home-made gnocchi with confit tomatoes, rosemary oil and Alpine cheese fondue
• MAIN course: Stuffed courgettes, sultanas, pine nuts, chapelure and saffron cream
• DESSERT: Vegan Pannacotta, red fruit coulis and caramelised hazelnuts
