We are thrilled to announce that, as every year, Monte Generoso will be the spectacular setting for the seventh edition of the RAIFFEISEN Generoso Trail, organized in collaboration with Sport Event Ticino.

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the Fiore di pietra will host the finish line and the awards ceremony of this extraordinary trail running race, which promises unforgettable emotions for all participants.

👉 The Challenge

With a 12 km course and a positive elevation gain of 1437 meters, this race will take you from the picturesque Piazza del Ponte in Mendrisio to the summit of Monte Generoso, at an altitude of 1704 meters. After starting on asphalt, the route winds through enchanting forests and ends with a breathtaking 360-degree view stretching from the Alps to the Apennines.

👉 The Experience at Fiore di pietra

We are proud to welcome participants and their companions to our iconic Fiore di pietra, designed by architect Mario Botta. Here, amidst spectacular landscapes and a unique atmosphere, lunch and the awards ceremony will take place.

08:30-10:30: Bib collection at Piazza del Ponte, Mendrisio

10:40: Bag deposit closes

10:50: Dog Trail start

11:05: Generoso Trail start

12:30-14:30: Lunch and awards ceremony at Fiore di pietra
