Exhibition Alejandra Abad

Alejandra Abad, a Ticino-Ecuadorian artist, rediscovered her passion for painting during the pandemic. Painting represents her form of expression and exploration of her inner world. In a short period, she has exhibited in New York, Barcelona, Milan, and Zurich, with art collectors investing in her works. "Colori del Ticino" is an exhibition dedicated to the Italian Switzerland, the place where the artist grew up. The paintings are inspired by the colors of water, stones, and the Mediterranean characteristics of the region. The works were created using recycled flyers from Monte Generoso along with acrylic and oil pastels, overall highlighting the importance of sustainability.

Alejandra has also decided to donate part of the proceeds to a gastronomy education project in the Amazon in Ecuador supported by the Association Cuisine Sans Frontières.
